Thanks.. yep, that is an old Mego Cher doll. Thanks for the compliment, but I think I look horrible in that picture.. LOL!! (everyone is their own worst critc, hu? LOL!) I dont look like that now.. that picture was over a year and a half ago, actually. I just found it in my files here this morning. My hair is back to it's normal ultra dark brown and until about 1pm this afternoon, it was past my bra strap.. I got it cut today... it is now like Julia Stiles' hair cut in Bourne Identity.. I had over 8" cut and I dontated my hair to the Lukemia Society.. they use the hair to make wigs and give them to children who are going thru chemo and have lost their hair.

Cute picture! He is a very nice man isn't he? He taught a 3 week course at my college. I learned quite a bit from him in that short time. This was in the early 80's, so I am still shocked he made the time to do that. Our school also had a huge collection of his dresses in our museum...they are just unbelieveable in person. He is quite a craftsman and showman! [img]smile.gif[/img]
That is so nice you donated your hair too. I know a little girl on our street who has benefited from one of those wigs.

YES! He is a scream of a good - timer! We laughed and laughed together. When I got home, I had a pkg in the mail of his book "Unmistakably Mackie" that he personalized / signed to me as well as a drawing of Cher in one of her costumes.. actually it is her in the costume she wore during her concerts when she would sing Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves. I have it framed and hanging in my studio along side of this picture of him and myself.. I envy you that you got to spend THREE weeks in a classroom with him! I could only DREAM that he would teach up her at CCAD.. Columbus College of Art and Design! *dreamy sigh* I bet that his work is just sensational in person.. wow!!!!
